Easton Chilli announces collaboration with Radical Roasters and Ruby Hue

Three independent Bristol businesses have announced a collaboration on a new Mexican-inspired hot sauce. Easton Chilli will produce the sauce, using coffee from Radical Roasters, and cacao from Ruby Hue.

Mura - a mole poblano hot sauce rated 4/5 on the Easton Chilli heat scale - features coffeee, chocolate, tomatillo, and an array of authentic Mexican chillies and herbs like chipotle, guajilo, aguecate, pink peppercorn, Mexican oregano, epazote, and hoja santa. It's recommended to use like a brown sauce, or with Mexican foods like tacos and burritos.

Both Ruby Hue and Radical Roasters specialise in sourcing single-estate produce, processing the raw materials at their respective sites in Bristol to their exacting requirements. Their processes yield distinct flavours not often seen on the UK market. Both companies have selected produce especially for the sauce recipe, highlighting a bright and acidic flavour that complements the earthy notes of the other ingredients.

Artwork for the bottle is by local artist and designer Joel Keightley, and depicts each brand in the style of Aztec wall carvings.

This collaboration is an example of the vibrant independent food scene in Bristol, with passionate companies at the cutting edge of bringing new flavours and quality produce to market.
