Fun class, Rikki is very knowledgeable and you take home quite a few jars of your own product after a little tasting session of everyone's at the end.
We had a great evening with Rikki teaching us how to make chilli jam and sauce - highly recommended :)
Rikki had a wealth of knowledge on all things spicy. The atmosphere was calm with a lot of freedom given in how to make the chilli sauce, but guidance was always on hand when needed. Rikki provided a wide range of ingredients to choose from so we could choose our own path, and make the sauce we wanted to make. The evening ended with a cosy sit down meal of samosas and spring rolls, where we tried everyone's jam/sauce, and some of Easton Chilli's too. We went home with a jar/bottle of everything everyone made, and plenty of our own sauce too.
Rikki is super knowledgeable - we learnt loads about the fermentation theory and it was really easy to put this into practice in the workshop with Rikki's support. Having made our own jam and sauce to take home has inspired us to try this more :) thank you!
The atmosphere was relaxed and friendly making it a perfect evening. Rikki was great, very informative and happy to answer any questions. I now feel confident enough to make my own hot sauces and jams at home. Would recommend to everyone!
