The workshop
In this workshop you will...
...learn about all the different types of fermentation, and how they create flavours!
...learn about the different types of chilli ferments from around the world (and try some)!
...make your own spicy vegetable lactoferment, and take it home to enjoy later!
...make your own lactoferment chilli sauce, and learn how to pasteurise and bottle it!
What you'll make: There will be a selection of chillies and other ingredients so you will be able to put your own spin on your ferments! You are welcome to bring extra ingredients if you have anything particular you'd like to make.
Skill level: Good for beginners and experienced chefs alike! This is also a good workshop to do with a friend, partner, or in groups!
What to bring: All ingredients and required materials are provided as part of the cost of the workshop. You'll also get a PDF with workshop information after the class. You should bring your own pen & paper if you want to write notes.
Allergy info: please note that as the workshop is held in a shared kitchen space, and we're all cooking together, so we can't guarantee any particular allergen is not present in the environment. Please make any allergens and intolerances known at the time of booking and we will make best effort to avoid/remove these from the kitchen.
